**LINE CLEANING UPDATE**
Starting January 1, 2025

The NC ABC Omnibus bill regarding line cleaning states thatit is unlawful for a manufacturer, bottler, or wholesaler of alcohol to provide draft line cleaning services to a retailer unless the retailer pays fair market value.
Draft lines must be maintained on a regular basis to prevent the growth of mold, bacteria, and yeast, which can alter the beer's flavor and aroma. We recommend, at minimum, monthly line cleanings to maintain healthy lines.
